September Mixer – Show and Tell Tuesday: Share Your Best Practices!
On Tuesday, September 14th, a new “tradition” begins . . . it's Show and Tell Tuesday! Join your fellow Lehigh Valley Chapter members at the Best Western Bethlehem at 5:30pm for some sharing of great minds and great ideas. Bring $25 and a “Best Practice” you’ve either put in place or you have heard about (that’s the “Show and Tell” part). Over a great end-of-summer meal, with no pressure, no stress and all smiles, you can present your “Best Practice” (or just listen to others –no pressure or stress!). We’ll have an LCD and computer if you have a slide you would like to share and if you don’t mind, we’ll even make copies of your “Best Practice” and e-mail it to your fellow attendees (with your permission). If you don't have a "Best Practice" to share - no problem. Just come and enjoy the others! Join us on September 14th. The tradition begins! Social Security Administration Seminar - 9/24
On September 24th, the Social Security Administration is conducting a educational seminar about available on-line resources at the SSA website dedicated to HR Professionals and answering social security related questions. There is no cost to this event and is open to non-SHRM members as well as members. Time: 9:00am-11:00am. Location: Sacred Heart Hospital, 421 Chew St., Allentown.
